Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance India launch on April 11: Most powerful production AMG ever!

The company recently launched the Mercedes-AMG E53 4Matic+ Cabriolet at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom). The E53 Cabriolet is powered by a 3.0-litre, turbocharged, in-line six-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system.

Mercedes Benz India today announced that it will be launching the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance sports car on April 11th 2023. The AMG GT 63 S E will be the latest addition to the AMG portfolio in India after AMG E 53 4MATIC Cabriolet. Mercedes says that the new AMG GT 63 S E is inspired by F1 and it promises to transition the AMG brand DNA of driving performance into a new electrified future.

When launched, the AMG GT 63 S E Performance will be the most powerful production Mercedes-AMG ever. The sports car will be manufactured in Affalterbach, Germany and will be bought in India via the CBU route.

The AMG GT 63 S E performance is based on GT 63 S. The E Performance gets aggressive bumpers with sleek headlamps. The sports coupe also gets bigger alloy wheels with minor tweaks done to the rear bumper.
The AMG GT 63 S E Performance will be powered by a 4.0-litre, biturbo V8 engine paired with an electric motor which produces 843 hp of power and a massive 1400+ Nm of torque. Mercedes claims the AMG GT 63 S E Performance can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds which is impressive. Mercedes also said that the sports coupe can travel up to 12 Km in pure electric mode.

The company recently launched the Mercedes-AMG E53 4Matic+ Cabriolet at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom). The E53 Cabriolet is powered by a 3.0-litre, turbocharged, in-line six-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The engine produces 430 bhp of power and 520 Nm of torque. Mercedes says that the mild-hybrid system further offers 21 bhp and 250 Nm boost during hard acceleration. The engine comes paired with a 9-speed gearbox which sends power to all four wheels. Mercedes claims that the E53 Cabriolet can sprint from 0-100 in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph.
