Jeep Meridian Track edition launched at Rs 35.95 lakh: Here’s what’s different

Jeep India has launched the limited-run Jeep Meridian Track edition in the Indian market. The new Track edition is based on the Overland trim and brings in a host of exterior and interior enhancements. It’s offered in two variants - Track edition AT and Track edition AT 4x4 priced at Rs 35.95 lakh and Rs 37.82 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom). Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest Jeep dealership, deliveries are expected to begin soon.

Exterior changes include Piano Black accents on the grille, badges and body mouldings, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a Dark Espresso grille with Neutral Grey highlights, and a signature hood decal along with Track Edition badging. The cabin follows a similar approach, featuring a Dark Espresso and Spruce Beige interior theme with Tupelo stitching and quilted upholstery. A Cortina leather-wrapped steering wheel and Track Edition graphics further differentiate the interior.




The Track edition also features a manually sliding second-row seat. The adjustable rear bench operates on a 60:40 configuration, allowing the larger portion of the seat to move back and forth by up to 130mm, while the smaller section offers slightly greater travel of up to 140mm.

Features-wise, the Meridian Track edition gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 9-speaker Alpine audio system, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and powered and ventilated front seats. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, six airbags, hill hold assist, traction control, TPMS, electric parking brake and much more.

Mechanically, the SUV remains the same. It continues to get a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which puts out 170 hp power and 370 nm torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic. It also continues to get 4x4 with multiple terrain modes and a low-range mode.
