Citroen C3 is now expensive by up to Rs 18,000: Check new price list
French car maker Citroen has increased the prices of the Citroen C3 hatchback. It should be noted that the company has hiked the prices of Naturally Aspirated variants and the prices for the Turbo variants remain the same. The company has increased the prices by up to Rs 18,000 and it’s worth mentioning that this is the second price hike in 2023.
The prices for the NA variants of the C3 now start from Rs 6.16 lakh and go up to 7.38 lakh (ex-showroom). As previously mentioned, the prices for the Turbo variants remain the same. When the car was first launched back in July 2022, the price for the hatchback started at Rs 5.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the C3, the hatchback is offered with two engine options - a 1.2-litre NA with 82hp and 115Nm and a 1.2-litre Turbo Petrol with 110hp and 190Nm. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual for NA and a 6-speed manual for turbo. Fuel efficiency figures claimed on the naturally aspirated engine and the turbocharged one are 19.8 kpl and 19.4 kpl, respectively.
Talking about the design, the C3 gets Citroen's signature grille flanked with split headlamps with gets LED DRLs. The car gets 15-inch steel wheels with body cladding all around, along with chunky skid plates front and rear. The C3 has a ground clearance of 180 mm and 315 litres of boot space.
In terms of features and safety, the C3 gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, four speakers, and front and rear USB charging ports. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, speed-sensing auto door lock, rear parking sensors, and a high-speed alert system. The C3 competes with Tata Punch, Maruti Ignis, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
