Affordable Cars, SUVs with ADAS under Rs 15 lakh: Honda Amaze, New Venue & more
ADAS features are becoming increasingly accessible in the mass-market car segment, with several manufacturers now offering the technology in cars and SUVs priced under Rs 15 lakh. Features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking are no longer limited to premium luxury models. The growing competition in the compact car and SUV market has pushed brands to focus more on safety and technology, with ADAS emerging as an important feature differentiator. Buyers are also placing greater emphasis on safety equipment alongside comfort and convenience features.
These technologies are aimed at reducing driver fatigue and helping prevent potential collisions on city and highway roads. In this article, let’s take a look at affordable cars and, SUVs with ADAS under Rs 15 lakh.
Honda Amaze
The Honda Amaze is the most affordable car to get ADAS. The top-spec ZX trim priced from Rs 9.3 lakh gets a camera-based ADAS System. The ADAS suite includes lane keep assist, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and auto high-beam assist. The Honda Amaze is powered by a 90hp, 110Nm, 1.2-litre, 4-cyl, NA petrol engine, with a choice of a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.
Mahindra XUV 3XO
Second on the list is the Mahindra XUV 3XO. The higher-spec AX5 L and range-topping AX7 L variants of the Mahindra XUV 3XO are equipped with a Level 2 ADAS suite and are priced from Rs 11.9 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets three engine options - a 111hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Another engine is the 117hp, 1.5-litre turbo diesel paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox. Higher variants are powered by the 130hp, 1.2-litre turbo direct injection petrol unit, which comes paired with an Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque convertor automatic and 6-speed manual gearbox.
Honda City
Another Honda sedan on the list is the Honda City. Apart from the base SV trim, all variants of the Honda City - including the V, VX and ZX - are offered with an ADAS suite and are priced from Rs 12.4 lakh (ex-showroom). The Honda City is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine that puts out 121bhp and 145Nm of torque and comes paired either with a 6-speed MT or a CVT gearbox.
Tata Nexon
Next is the Tata Nexon which gets Level 2 ADAS features only with the Fearless+ PS variant equipped with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and DCT gearbox. The Red Dark edition also offers the feature set with the same powertrain combination. Diesel variants and petrol-manual versions do not get ADAS. Prices start from Rs 13.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia Sonet
Next is the Kia Sonet which gets Level 1 ADAS features on top-spec GTX+ and X-Line trims. Prices start from Rs 13.6 lakh (ex-showroom). The GTX+ trim is offered with either a 120hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired to a DCT automatic transmission or a 116hp 1.5-litre diesel engine mated to a torque-converter automatic gearbox. The X-Line variant is available only with the turbo-petrol DCT combination.
Hyundai Venue
Next is Sonet’s cousin, Hyundai Venue which gets Level 2 ADAS features on top-spec HX 10 and HX 10 Knight variants priced from Rs 14.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec HX 10 and HX 10 Knight trims are available with a 120hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a DCT gearbox or a 116hp 1.5-litre diesel engine coupled with an automatic transmission.

Another Honda on the list is the Honda Elevate SUV which gets Level 2 ADAS on top spec ZX trim priced from Rs 14.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The Honda City is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine that puts out 121bhp and 145Nm of torque and comes paired either with a 6-speed MT or a CVT gearbox.
MG Astor
Next is the MG Astor priced a little over 15 lakh (ex-showroom). At the time of its launch in 2021, the MG Astor became the first midsize SUV in India to offer ADAS features. The Level 2 ADAS package is currently available on the range-topping Savvy Pro variant.
