2026 Hyundai Verna launched at Rs 10.98 lakh: What's new in Virtus, Slavia rival
Hyundai Motor India today announced the launch of the new 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift sedan in the Indian market. The updated Verna receives cosmetic upgrades, new features, added safety and much more. It's now priced between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (both prices ex-showroom) and continues to compete with the Honda City, VW Virtus and Skoda Slavia.\
Interested customers can book the sedan online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to start by the end of this month. The updated Verna also receives new variant names and is offered in six variants - HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. Additionally, it also gets two new colour options - Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.
Talking about the powertrain options, it continues to be offered with two engine options - a 1.5 litre NA petrol with a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic. Another engine option is a 160 hp, 1.5-litre turbo petrol with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. In terms of design, the exterior now includes a black chrome radiator grille, bigger set of LED headlamps, redesigned bumpers with a new lower bumper and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Moving inside, the sedan gets a new D-cut steering wheel with the updated Hyundai logo, leatherette seat upholstery, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat and a four-way electrically adjustable front passenger seat.
The model also adds several segment-first features. These include a driver-seat memory function with a welcome feature, an electric walk-in device for the front passenger seat, a rear window sunshade, a built-in dashcam, seven airbags and a smart trunk with a capacity of over 528 litres. Other features include dual 10.25-inch screens, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Bose speakers, a surround-view camera, a Level-2 ADAS suite, ventilated front seats, an eight-speaker Bose sound system and a blind-spot monitor.
