2026 Force Traveller N launched: Touchscreen system, new design & more
Force Motors today announced the launch of the new 2026 Force Traveller N Range marking a comprehensive update to its long-running people mover. The 2026 model gets a new design, added comfort, features and more. It will be offered in passenger, ambulance, delivery van, and school bus applications. Interested customers can book the new Traveller N Range by visiting their nearest Force dealer from mid-May, and deliveries are expected to begin soon.
The Traveller continues to be a key product for the brand, with over four decades in the market and a segment share exceeding 70 per cent. It is widely used across multiple applications and remains one of the most widely adopted platforms in its category. Force says that the updated range focuses on improvements in comfort, usability, reliability and performance, while also aiming to lower the total cost of ownership and simplify maintenance.
Talking about the changes to the cabin, it features a redesigned cockpit with a digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch Android-based touchscreen infotainment screen. It also gets new seats, improved noise insulation and a revised HVAC system aimed at better cooling performance. Exterior updates include a new front fascia with LED daytime running lamps and turn indicators, along with a redesigned rear section. On the engineering front, the model receives updates to its sheet metal structure and a reduction in body joints, aimed at improving structural integrity and overall fit and finish. Manufacturing processes have also been enhanced with the use of robotics and automated door hemming to improve consistency and efficiency.
Talking about the powertrain, the Force N Range will continue to get a tried and tested Mercedes-derived 2.6-litre turbo diesel engine with BS6 phase 2 compliance and comes paired with a manual gearbox which sends power to the rear wheels.
Mr Prasan Firodia, Managing Director- Force Motors Limited said, “The Force Traveller has been a well-established product in India’s shared mobility space for many years and continues to lead its segment.
With the new Force Traveller N Range, we’ve focused on improving what matters, guided by inputs from owners, drivers, and passengers to enhance comfort, usability, reliability, and cost of ownership, while reducing downtime and enabling better utilisation for fleet operators.
At the same time, we’ve strengthened how we build the Traveller. Learnings from Urbania have helped refine our manufacturing processes and quality systems, bringing greater consistency and improved overall build quality. In many ways, the new Force Traveller N Range builds on the strong trust the Force Traveller has earned over the years, while making it more refined, capable, and better suited to today’s customer expectations”.
