Honda motorcycles, scooters get affordable: Model-wise price cuts after GST 2.0
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced a price reduction across its scooter and commuter motorcycle range, passing on the full benefit of the government’s latest GST cut to customers. The revision follows the GST Council’s decision to lower the tax on two-wheelers (up to 350cc) from 28% to 18%, making popular models more affordable by up to Rs 18,887.
Scooters such as the Activa 110 now get cheaper by up to Rs 7,874, while the Dio 110 sees a reduction of up to Rs 7,157. In the 125cc scooter lineup, the Activa 125 benefits by up to Rs 8,259, and the Dio 125 by up to Rs 8,042.
On the commuter bike side, the Shine 100 gets more affordable by up to Rs 5,672, while its DX version sees cuts of up to Rs 6,256. The Unicorn comes down by nearly Rs 9,948, the SP125 by Rs 8,447, and the SP160 by Rs 10,635.
Premium offerings in the CB range see the biggest benefit: the Hornet 2.0 is now cheaper by up to Rs 13,026, the NX200 by Rs 13,978, the H’ness CB350 by Rs 18,598, and the CB350RS by Rs 18,857. The highest cut is on the CB350, reduced by up to Rs 18,887 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
HMSI said this move comes just ahead of the festive season, making its models more accessible in both urban and rural markets. Customers can check exact revised prices at their nearest Honda dealership.
