Feb ’26 Two-Wheeler Sales: Splendor, Activa, Classic 350 lead sales
India’s two-wheeler market recorded strong growth in February 2026, with major manufacturers reporting healthy year-on-year gains. High demand for commuter motorcycles and scooters helped drive volumes, with popular models such as the Hero Splendor, Honda Activa, Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar range, TVS Apache and Royal Enfield Classic 350 continuing to lead sales across segments.
Hero MotoCorp reported total dispatches of 5,58,216 units in February 2026, registering a 44 per cent increase over 3,88,068 units sold in the same month last year. Domestic sales stood at 5,16,968 units, up 44.68 per cent from 3,57,296 units a year ago. The company said scooters as well as 100cc and 125cc motorcycles supported the growth. Key contributors included models such as the Splendor, HF Deluxe and Destini.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India also posted strong numbers. The company recorded total sales of 5,67,351 units in February 2026, reflecting a 34 per cent increase compared to the same month last year. Domestic sales accounted for 5,13,190 units, while exports stood at 54,161 units. Popular models such as the Honda Shine and Activa continued to contribute significantly to volumes.
Bajaj Auto reported steady growth as well. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose to 1,86,164 units, marking a 27 per cent increase from 1,46,138 units in February 2025. Exports grew 26 per cent to 1,93,757 units, compared to 1,53,280 units a year earlier. The company’s volumes are often largely driven by the Bajaj Pulsar range, especially the 125cc, 160cc and 200cc versions. It also sells the Chetak electric scooter in healthy volumes.
TVS Motor Company also registered notable growth. Total two-wheeler sales increased 28 per cent to 4,94,195 units, up from 3,87,671 units a year earlier. Domestic sales rose 30 per cent to 3,83,262 units from 2,93,860 units. Motorcycle sales stood at 2,19,188 units, up 26 per cent, while scooter sales grew 30 per cent to 2,22,926 units. Exports increased 18 per cent to 1,10,933 units. The company’s electric two-wheeler business also expanded, with EV sales rising 50 per cent to 37,756 units from 25,195 units.
Meanwhile, Royal Enfield recorded total sales of 1,00,905 motorcycles in February 2026, an 11 per cent increase compared to 90,670 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales stood at 91,248 units, up 13 per cent, while exports were at 9,657 units, slightly lower than 9,871 units a year ago. Models such as the Classic 350 and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 continue to account for a major share of the company’s volumes.
Suzuki Motorcycle India recorded a 37% year-on-year growth, selling 1,23,299 units last month compared to 89,966 units in February 2025. Domestic sales stood at 1,01,071 units, marking a 38% increase from 73,215 units in the same month last year. Exports reached 22,228 units, up 33% from 16,751 units shipped in February 2025.
