Buying a BMW bike? Prices set to rise by up to 6% from this date: Details
BMW Motorrad India has announced a price revision across its motorcycle range, with prices set to increase by up to 6 percent from January 1, 2026. The revision will apply across the portfolio and is being driven by rising costs rather than any changes to the products themselves. With the price hike coming into effect from the new year, buyers planning to purchase a BMW motorcycle may want to factor in the revised pricing while making their decisions.
According to the company, the decision has been taken in response to sustained pressure from foreign exchange movements and higher input costs. The impact of the hike is expected to be more pronounced on fully built import (CBU) motorcycles, as these models are more sensitive to currency fluctuations.
BMW Motorrad’s current line-up in India includes locally manufactured models such as the G 310 RR and the CE 02 electric scooter. Alongside these, the brand sells a wide range of premium CBU offerings, including the F 900 GS and F 900 GSA, R 1300 GS and R 1300 GSA, M 1000 RR and M 1000 R, S 1000 RR and S 1000 R, R 18 Transcontinental, R 12 and R 12 nineT, R 1250 RT, the K 1600 range, C 400 GT and the CE 04 electric scooter.
To soften the impact of the higher prices, BMW said its finance arm in India will continue to offer customised financing solutions. These include flexible monthly instalment plans, reduced interest rates on select models and end-of-term options designed to make ownership easier for customers.
