Dr Chandra Krishnamurthy, Vice Chancellor of the Women's University, inaugurated the event, which had some 850 women students exhibiting their talents from Gujarat.
More than 30 events were scheduled over three days. The contents of the events were a mix of fine arts, literature, dance, music and theatre. Amongst the on-stage events, folk dance performances and theatre displayed artistic skills of the participants. The grand finale had a non-competitive segment of three skits and a fashion show, where the main theme centred on women. Roopa Divetia, actor and theatre artist, felicitated the winning teams and individuals for each event.
