After living in the Gulf for years together, how does it feel when your folks back home ask you or rather assume that you know Arabic when in reality all you've known about Arabic is when you've heard your Arab friends speak.
Often NRIs land up in India for their further studies and suddenly face a reality check. More often than not, they find it difficult to cope up here, atleast initially.
There's no denying the fact that NRIs definitely have a bit of an attitude problem, especially when they come from the Gulf.
Generally, the Diwali season is the prime time during which NRIs feel extremely homesick, which is further rubbed in by constant wishes from relatives back home and by programmes and news on the Indian channels.
After all the fun and frolic that a normal child enjoys during school days, you suddenly get excited about living in another country, especially when it is the Gulf.
