I was born and brought up in the USA, moved to India after finishing 12th grade and am now a college student in Chennai. I’m a trained classical dancer. I completed my Bharathanatyam Arangetram in the USA when I was 15, and now learn Kuchipudi. I have also learned both Carnatic Vocal and Piano since I was 5. The move to India was definitely a hard one, but writing about my observations helped me make it through. I wish to help bridge the gap between the two countries I consider close to me.
