I was born in India and moved to Ireland when I was a young girl. I grew up in Ireland, where we were the only Indian family in the village. I won a scholarship to school, where my favourite subject was English. Growing up in Ireland was unique, as my parents strove to ensure I did not loose my Indian roots. I left Ireland to study Law at Oxford University, and graduated with a First Class degree. I worked as an investment banker, and have recently quit to pursue my passion of writing.
