Rytasha Rathore of ‘Badho Bahu’ is a diva in real life

Badho Bahu, which tells the story of a plus-size woman and her dreams of marriage, marks the debut of Rytasha Rathore. The newbie weighs 100 kgs in the show and will be mostly seen in traditional avatar. While going through her pics on Instagram, we discovered that the actress is spunky, fun loving and quirky in real life. Take a look at some of her amazing pictures.

However, the actress is the exact opposite of her onscreen avatar in real-life. Rytasha has been proud of her weight and doesn't shy away from flaunting a bikini or short dresses in real-life.

But even the confident Rytasha faced difficulties and admits that it took her a long time to accept her body. "It took me a long time to accept my body and be fine with it. Of course from a health point of view, I know I should lose weight but purely as an esthetic thing I know I am damn cute, sexy and beautiful. I think after studying acting things changed for me. It made me feel I will always be amazing no matter what and I shouldn't listen to other people," explained Rytasha.

Rytasha, who comes from a theatre background, is paired opposite Bigg Boss season 9 winner Prince Narula in the show. When asked, if she has ever missed out on guys attention because of her weight, Rytasha said, "I don't know how true that is. It depends and it doesn't really matters. I think my generation is very intelligent and evolved enough to not look at this. Especially, the world I come from. It's not Oh my god she is fat and we can't be with her. It's stupid I feel."

Rytasha had recently said: "I never wanted to be on TV. It was never my aspiration to be a TV actor. It just kind of happened. I wasn't apprehensive, but knowing the time commitment required from the lead actors, I was a bit scared that I won't be able to do other stuff. That was my big concern."

Rytasha says the basic premise of "Badho Bahu" might be similar to the Bollywood film "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" but the TV series has more to offer. "It (the show) is similar to 'Dum Laga...' in the sense that the female protagonist is overweight and the man is not happy to marry her. But that is the only similarity, beyond that there are a lot of things which will happen on the show."
