In its 11th day of protest now, the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) students are still deciding on whether to send students or select alumni from the institute to New Delhi, to engage in a dialogue with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. While the students have yet to come to a consensus on that, the ninth day of the protest witnessed a day of Free Colour on campus.
Their war cry being #NoColor, students painted themselves with colours to protest against the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as the Governing Council chairman.

We want more colour, more words, more strength and more freedom to choose, decide, say yes, agree and to disagree. We want more freedom to change or to remain the same. We celebrated a day of ‘Free Colour’ since we do not want to keep ourselves limited to any one colour.”
Even after their Facebook page was deactivated and Twitter account blocked, the students are now communicating through a newly created Facebook page called the ‘Wisdom Tree’.
The
strike began on June 12 and has drawn a lot of support.
