Bigg Boss Nau: Wild card entry Kanwaljeet Singh gets candid

It’s raining wild card entries in the Bigg Boss house and the newest contestant on the block is set to bring about yet another entertaining twist in the tale! Designer Kanwaljeet Singh, who will enter the show this week, will energize the house with his flamboyant personality, wicked sense of humour and loving nature. Being the eldest member of the house, Kanwaljeet is expected to share his experiences and be the go-to person for the 'Bigg Boss' contestants. In an exclusive interview with TV Times, Kanwaljeet talks about the BB housemates, his strategies and how he got the show.

On his entry

I feel as if my nine-year itch has finally been relieved. I have been an ardent fan of 'Bigg Boss' since season one and cannot wait to bring in some excitement to the show. I want to represent the gay fashion community through 'Bigg Boss' and definitely want to come out as the winner. I believe for a show like 'Bigg Boss', one doesn't need to do any preparation and just follow your own instincts.

On the most fake person on the show

I think Rimi Sen is wearing a mask and I am going to remove that. She is just pretending of being not unhappy on the show. I think it is her game plan. If she genuinely wants to go home, there are other ways to do so. She is a talented girl but she has not been able to make big in Bollywood and now she is taking out her frustration. She says, she wants to be a director. She has been cursing people who have voted for her. Why will anyone go and watch her film. It is all a drama. So many people have walked out of the show gracefully. She doesn't need to do all this if she seriously wants to go home.

On Salman supporting Mandana

I think all this is rubbish. Salman is not supporting anyone. He is just going with the flow. He is upfront when the contestants are wrong and somehow they can't handle it. During the first elimination, Mandana was crying for Ankit and Salman made fun of her on national television. All this is just created by Puneet Vashisht who got recently eliminated. If he was really talented he should have show shown his skills to the world. He was acting like a hooligan and was very cheap on camera. Salman tried to guide him on the show but now because he is evicted, he's blaming Salman. Rishabh also entered the house with a lot of force but then went quiet.

On Kishwer being loud

I think it is her personality. She is loud by nature. I have met her at parties so I know she is like that. Like Rochelle handles herself with grace, Kishwer is just being herself- loud. Her upbringing has been like that but I also believe that one should be flexible with others.

Suyyash is Meena Kumari

I find Suyyash very funny. He cries on everyone's behalf. He's the Meena Kumari of the house.

Kanwaljeet was approached last year also

It's strange but the makers have been wanting me to do the show. In fact, I had cleared the interview for 'Bigg Boss', two-three years back but somehow it didn't workout. Interestingly, couple of months back, I met Mr Raj Nayak at Gulshan Kumar's concert and decided to just go and speak to him. I told him the entire thing how despite being interviewed for the show, I never got selected. I got a positive answer and look, I am on the show.

On Mandana

I completely loved her in the beginning. I have a couple of friends from Iran and I think they are very straight forward by nature. She handled herself very well on the show but when the entire house went against her, she crawled into a shell. I find her very honest and clear. She speaks her mind openly. She came as a surprise package on the show.
