Singer Adnan Sami is no stranger to Bollywood. He has sung a host of songs in Hindi films, even acted in Sargam (1995). His latest Bollywood number 'Sweeta' is a rambunctious number that portrays a guy madly in love. Beautifully penned by the eloquent Gulzar, it has all the naughtiness, mischief, light-headedness and the excitement that a young guy in love displays.
Says Adnan, “(Music directors) Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and I have worked together in the past. When this particular song came up, Shaan told me about it.
Gulzar sahab ke saath purani dosti hai, right from my first song '
Ankhein', which I composed and sang.”

Ranveer Singh on whom the song is picturised has enhanced its flavour with his spontaneous act on camera. “Ranveer was absolutely fantastic. He is a delight to watch. He created a visual enactment.
