Former 'Bigg Boss' contestant Zulfi Syed accused of sexually harassing a journalist

Remember actor-model Zulfi Syed, who has acted in films like 'Chupke Se'and 'Taj Mahal' and been a part of TV shows 'Bigg Boss' and 'Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'? He has now been accused of sexual assault by a photo-journalist, as part of the #MeToo movement that has been gaining momentum in the country.
According to the survivor's account, the incident took place in 2006, during a media event on a cruise liner.In a series of tweets on social media, she revealed how Zulfi tried to force himself on her, when she went to his room to collect her phone, which was charging. She narrated how, he forcibly kissed her and when she asked him to stop, he wouldn't. It was by sheer presence of mind that she managed to escape from there.
Apart from Zulfi, other Bollywood actors like Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Nana Patekar, Rajat Kapoor and Kailash Kher are amongst those who have been named for sexual misconduct.
