Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Saath Nibhana Saathiya: 5 most disliked TV shows of 2016

Our Hindi shows on the small screen are wide-ranging and cover almost everything from supernatural thrillers to saas-bahu sagas. However, what they completely lack is a storyline. While Television is finally experimenting with content, there are some serials which refuse to end and hence, they have made it to our list of the most disliked shows in 2016. Take a look.
2/6

Saath Nibhaana Saathiya

Saath Nibhaana Saathiya: With constant and incomprehensible leaps, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya ceases to make sense anymore. The Star Plus show looks dragged and no one seems to age with time. It doesn't just stop there. Gopi Bahu has been changed three times on the show. How convincing is that? The saas-bahu melodrama has nothing to offer in terms of a plot. And so it makes to the top of our most disliked shows.
3/6

Sasural Simar Ka

Sasural Simar Ka: Sasural Simar Ka has been on the reverse mode ever since it first aired. The current plot of the show dates back to the 19th century and is so redundant and unbelievable, that it hurts to see something like that on the Television screens. Simar looks the same, and her world sadly comprises of a husband who loves her like he hates her. The rest of them also play clichéd parts, which are so passé that we seriously need to move on from this one!

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: The show is all about winning other people's love and trust. Certainly not the most important thing in life, eh?! Even though the serial is about insanely rich families but it is quite unrealistic to see them deal with everyday mundane problems like power cuts, traffic jams, cooking etc. The lead actors of the show, Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, quit the show this year. Probably, even they have had enough of the crap, which makes us think that it's time the makers of the show take a hint!
5/6

Naagin Season 2

Naagin Season 2: Even though Naagin Season 1 was quite a hit among the viewers (for no reason at all), it seems that with its second season, better sense has finally prevailed. The show need not have any more sequels, considering the second one has failed to impress not just the critics this time, but also the audience. The show, which features popular actors like Mouni Roy, Karanvir Bohra and Adaa Khan, has a regressive title, an unrealistic genre (supernatural) and an unfathomable plot.
6/6

CID

CID: It is the longest running show in Indian TV history. Alas! It is time for makers to understand that it has reached a saturation point and there is nothing else left to explore. With all the mystery and suspense that is resolved only that way it can be in the fictional world, the show has little logic left and needs to die a natural death, before the audience kick it off the screens, that is.
