“You can’t take the chance! You have no choice! You’ve got to vote for me!” Trump declared. He continued, “Even if you don’t like me! You can sit there and say, ‘I can’t stand that guy, but there’s no way I’m gonna vote for her!’”

The hour-long broadcast, did not feature questions from the audience. Trump’s comments came amidst a broader discussion about fracking, a contentious issue in Pennsylvania, a key battleground state.

Trump’s strategy for the upcoming debate was evident as he launched attacks on Harris’s record regarding the economy, immigration, and foreign policy. The former president also raised concerns about the debate's impartiality, criticizing ABC News, the event's sponsor, for potential bias, despite rules prohibiting pre-debate question sharing.

Debate preparations and criticism
Ahead of his debate scheduled for Tuesday, Trump is focusing on diminishing Harris's approval ratings. He accused ABC News of possibly giving Harris’s team questions in advance, echoing previous complaints about CNN's debate coverage.

Trump also highlighted his push for early and mail-in voting, despite previously opposing it. This type of voting played a crucial role in President Joe Biden’s win in Pennsylvania in 2020. Current polls show Harris leading Trump 48%-43% in a recent USA Today/Suffolk Poll, although the race remains tight in key battleground states.

Responses to Democratic criticism
Addressing Democratic criticisms of his campaign, Trump refuted claims that he and running mate JD Vance are "weird." “There’s something weird with that guy,” Trump said of Democratic running mate Tim Walz, defending his own and Vance’s reputations as “solid rocks.”

Security concerns
Trump’s campaign is navigating heightened security risks following recent violence and the July assassination attempt on him. He remarked on the state of the world, saying, “It’s a sick and angry world for a lot of reasons.”
