Almost all messages were from a 'TRUMP SUPPORTER'.

The University of Alabama said “individuals across the country have received these disgusting messages” and urged anyone with information about them to report it, a statement said.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, at loggerheads with Donald Trump, said the “texts appear to be targeting Black and Brown individuals, including students, and may include personal information about the recipient such as their name or location."

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said the campaign has absolutely nothing to do with these text messages.

"Historian of slavery here. Welcome to Trumps America," another wrote.
