Severe storms ravage Oklahoma, Iowa, Nebraska

Storms wreaked havoc in Oklahoma, injuring over 100 individuals, damaging hospitals, and causing significant infrastructure damage, including road washouts and power outages affecting over 40,000 customers. In addition to the Oklahoma devastation, tornadoes that struck Iowa and Nebraska on Friday inflicted widespread destruction, resulting in one fatality.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reported that at least 16 homes were destroyed in Oklahoma, as announced in a briefing on Sunday morning. In Iowa, FEMA indicated that 270 homes and numerous structures suffered damage or were destroyed in Pottawattamie County, with about 25 homes facing similar fate in Shelby County.
