‘No Kings’ protests erupt! Trump hits back with AI video of himself flying fighter jet — Watch
US President Donald Trump on Sunday responded to massive “No Kings” demonstrations across the United States with an AI-generated video portraying himself as a fighter-jet pilot spraying mud on protesters.
In the 19-second clip posted on Truth Social, Trump is seen flying a jet emblazoned with the words “King Trump” over what appears to be New York’s Times Square. The aircraft dumps mud on crowds and on American influencer Harry Sisson, a vocal critic of the President.
The post came just a day after organisers claimed more than seven million Americans rallied in “No Kings” protests held in all 50 states — from New York and Los Angeles to smaller towns in the Midwest and even near Trump’s Florida home. Republicans dismissed the marches as “Hate America” rallies.
One of the AI-generated videos Trump posted on his Truth Social account showed him wearing a crown and flying a fighter jet over a crowd resembling protesters.
Several users interpreted the post as Trump’s way of mocking the “No Kings” protests, with one writing, “Maybe AI isn’t bad after all,” while another commented, “So much for democracy.”
In Washington, demonstrators gathered near the Capitol, chanting “This is what democracy looks like!” and waving signs that read “Protect Democracy” and “Abolish ICE”, targeting the immigration agency central to Trump’s hardline policies.
In another post, Trump shared an AI-generated image of former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris dressed as a king and queen.
The image read: “No Kings: Your party skipped the primary, crowned Kamala without a single vote, and tried to erase Trump from the ballot when your legal warfare crashed and burned. That’s not democracy — that’s authoritarianism with a blue sticker.”
Adding to the digital storm, Team Trump, the official Instagram handle of the president’s political organization, posted another AI-generated video showing Trump dressed as a monarch outside the White House, set to Andrea Bocelli’s music.
The video, viewed over 4 million times on Instagram, sparked a wave of reactions across platforms.
A netizen praised Trump’s humor: “I love how Trump is enjoying ‘No Kings Day’; he has a good sense of humor”. Another user questioned the irony of the post: “Nothing screams ‘limited government’ like a video of our leader dressed as a king”.
In another AI-generated video, posted with the caption “Happy King Trump Day!”, the US President can be seen dressed as a king, holding a sword, and riding a horse, chariot and a golden car.
Several netizens have been sharing their own AI-created photos and videos depicting Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump as a royal couple both seen wearing crowns, velvet robes and seated on golden thrones.
The “No Kings” rally is a grassroots movement denouncing what participants see as the erosion of democratic institutions and the expansion of executive power. Protesters chanted slogans such as “This is what democracy looks like” and “No hate, no fear — immigrants are welcome here.”
Ahead of the protests, President Trump insisted he is “not a king”. In an interview to Fox Business, he said: “They’re referring to me as a king. I’m not a king.”
Nonetheless, Republicans have dismissed the demonstrations as “Hate America” rallies, linking participants to far-left groups such as Antifa, Independent reported.
