Indian-American couple shot dead in New York
NEW YORK: An Indian-American couple was found shot dead in their house at Doone Drive in Long Island here.
Jaspal Singh, 46, and Geeta Singh, 38, were found dead by their two sons after they returned from school on Tuesday.
Investigators said on Tuesday night that they had no motive or suspects for the killings. The police had no reports of domestic violence from the house, Detective Lt Kevin Smith said.
While Jaspal had a gas station in Central Islip and a small retail business in Manhattan, Geeta was a housewife.

Their sons Josh, 13, and Ankur, 12 rang the doorbell of their home on Doone Drive in Syosset but when no one answered, they used a hidden spare key to enter the two-story home, police said.
Within minutes, Ankur ran across the street and asked someone to call 911, a neighbour said. Their father's body was in the living room while their mother was found dead in a bedroom.
The Singhs, who had migrated from India 18 years ago, had moved from New York City to Syosset last year, neighbours said, adding it was a "close-knit" family.
