‘Hire an American’: MAGA mocks as H-1B visa holders stranded by stamping delays
MAGA appears to be upset with India's response regarding the H-1B visa holders' issue, who returned home for visa stamping but are now stuck in India as the consulates have deferred all appointments by at least six months.
Nikki Haley's son Nalin Haley, several MAGA joined social media to mock India's reaction.
One of the Political Commentator Eric Daugherty on X said, "GOOD! Hire an American. No delays there." Another commentator Nick Sortor said, "STRANDED. IN THEIR HOME COUNTRIES Just leave them there! Please! We DO NOT need them!"
Another user Laura Ingraham said, "N-O."
A user said, "If these brilliant individuals are of such a high quality why isn’t India fighting to keep them? It’s almost like exporting a diaspora to exert influence and farm remittances in America is a critical part of their plan."
"How can you be stranded in your own fucking country LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" another said.
Hundreds of Indian H-1B visa holders who returned to India in January for mandatory visa stamping were informed that their appointments had been rescheduled to 2026, beginning in March-April. As a result, they cannot re-enter the US without a new stamp and face uncertainty over whether they may work remotely from India.
Many visa holders who travelled home for holidays discovered their visas had effectively been revoked. They were told they would not be allowed back into the US without obtaining fresh stamping, a process now subject to significant delays at Indian consulates.
The requirement to complete stamping in the country of origin was introduced by the US administration late last year. From December 15, H-1B and H-4 (H-1B dependent) applicants have also been subject to social media vetting, further slowing the scheduling of appointments.
Given the current backlog and enhanced screening procedures, applicants anticipate waits of at least six months before securing a new visa stamping date. This disruption has left many workers stranded outside the US and uncertain about their employment status.

Those who are "stranded", need to know their status. If US wants to cancel their H1bs, fine let them do it, but many of them are in no mans land,. they cannot look for jobs in India, because they do have assets in US, which need to sell and they are not sure whether the delay is only temporary or prolonged. Not many employers in India will hire only for a few months.Read allPost comment
