US President-elect Donald Trump recently met Prince William on Saturday in Paris as the city of lights invited dignitaries from all over the world to celebrate the re-opening of Notre Dame cathedral.

The duo chatted for almost two hours in the gilded Salon Jaune at the UK Ambassador’s Residence.

Once the meeting was over, Trump was all full of praise for the future king, saying that he had “a great talk” with him. Trump also complimented William over his looks and said, “He’s a good looking guy. He looked really, very handsome last night.” In an exclusive interview with the New York Post he also said that the prince looked better in person, “He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that.”

Prince William wore his signature grizzled beard, a look he’s been sporting lately. Meanwhile, Trump carried a golden tie which effortlessly complemented the parlor’s wallpaper.

“We had a great talk for half an hour, a little more than half an hour. We had a great, great talk,” Trump said.

During the conversation, the two leaders delved into many topics including William’s family, as per the New York Post.

“I asked him about his wife and he said she’s doing well. And I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad,” Trump said.

The recent cancer struggles within the House of Windsor were also discussed, including the Kate Middleton, Prince William's wife, who took an extended leave from her royal duties to undergo several months of chemotherapy for cancer, which she finished in September. Just before her diagnosis was made public, Buckingham Palace revealed that King Charles III had also been diagnosed with cancer, a battle he continues to fight.
