Immigration and customs enforcement officers conducted operations this week, apprehending several violent offenders in sanctuary cities, including a confrontational Haitian suspected gang member with an extensive criminal record who exclaimed "Not going back to Haiti" and shouted "F--k Trump, Biden forever!"
On X, US Vice President JD Vance shared Collin Rugg's post featuring video footage of the Haitian man shouting while being arrested.
"An illegal alien with 17 criminal convictions really hates President Trump for sending him back to Haiti. He's grateful to Biden for letting him come here. I'm glad we're deporting him. Do you agree or would you like him as your neighbour?," he wrote.
ICE officers in Boston secured eight significant arrests, including several MS-13 gang members, suspects of murder and rape, and the Haitian suspected gang member with at least 17 recent convictions, according to Fox News, who accompanied ICE during the operations.
Additionally, ICE made an unplanned arrest of an undocumented immigrant who wasn't their initial target. In Boston, they apprehended an MS-13 gang member who had been released by the sanctuary city on Tuesday.
During one arrest in Boston, Fox News reported hearing a woman express gratitude to the agents.
Several arrests involved Red Notices, responding to requests from other law enforcement agencies to locate and detain suspects.
Border Czar Tom Homan indicated that additional arrests would be frequent, particularly in sanctuary cities. "When we find the bad guy, there's probably others. Others that are in the United States illegally. They may not be a criminal priority but we're not walking away from them," he said.
These arrests mark Trump's administration's swift implementation of the mass deportation operation he pledged during his presidency - contrasting with former President Joe Biden's border policies that admitted approximately 8 million people illegally.
On Tuesday, federal officials detained over 300 undocumented migrants with criminal records across Boston, Denver, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Seattle Washington, DC, and Miami for deportation, according to administration officials.
This week's deportations initiate Homan's commitment to remove 700,000 undocumented migrants with criminal records from the US, including those in sanctuary cities.
Earlier this week, Homan revealed ICE officers possess a "target sheet" of migrants with criminal records marked for arrest and deportation.
The Trump Administration is implementing stringent measures to restrict illegal entries at the southern border. Border Patrol officers are now prohibited from releasing undocumented migrants into the country, according to Homeland Security sources who informed The Post.
Additionally, Trump plans to deploy 10,000 troops to the border as part of his directive for the US military to secure national borders.
