Elon Musk hosts Indian business leaders at SpaceX Starbase
TOI correspondent from London: Tech billionaire Elon Musk told a delegation of Indian business leaders that he is “certainly in favour of lowering trade barriers to increase commerce between the US and India”. Musk’s remarks came amid fears that incoming US president Donald Trump may increase trade tariffs on Indian imports.
Musk, whilst hosting a first-of-its kind delegation of Indian business figures at SpaceX’s Starbasefacility in Texas, emphasised the potential for deeper collaboration between the US and India, particularly in areas like technology and space exploration. “Things are trending positive,” he said.
“India is one of the ancient civilisations and a very great and very complex one,” Musk told the Indian delegation, representing leaders from diverse sectors ranging from technology and manufacturing to renewable energy. Topics discussed included the role of technology in finance and regulation, partnerships in space and AI innovation, and India’s growing role in the global innovation landscape.
The exclusive gathering, led by London-headquartered India Global Forum (IGF) founder Manoj Ladwa, provided an opportunity for leading Indian entrepreneurs to engage directly with Musk and tour the company’s cutting-edge space exploration facilities. The visit included a tour of Starbase.
Those on the trip included Essar Capital director Prashant Ruia; Kotak811 co-head Jay Kotak, OYO founder and group CEO Ritesh Agarwal, Flipkart CEO Kalyan Raman, Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt Ltd director Aryaman Birla, Apparel Group chairman Nilesh Ved, and author Amish Tripathi, among several others.
Musk spoke about his belief in the transformative potential of technology through his companies. “The goal of SpaceX is to expand the scope and scale of consciousness beyond what we know to understand what questions to ask about the answer that is the universe. We’re pretty confident that soon Grok 3 will be the most sophisticated AI in the world,” he said.
“This event underscores the growing importance of collaboration between India and global pioneers in shaping a sustainable and technology-driven future,” said Ladwa. “As the world’s most powerful democracy transitions to a Trump presidency, meaningful dialogue is more important than ever. I believe India’s rise presents limitless opportunities, and this meeting signifies the potential for powerful partnerships.”

China has been working so hard to curb India’s growth, by using corrupt Pakistan to achieve the goal. But all in vain, China must be dying a slow death in her communist mind. Pakistan created Taliban for India with funding from mother China, but it back fired. China has invested 60 billion dollars to curb India’s growth, Eighty percent is gone to Panama account. Pakistan is the only country in the world, where all parliamentarians are dual citizen. The children of all the M.P’s are in USA or U.K. Classic example is Bilawal Bhutto. The question is where does the loyalty lie.
The army who rules the country in reality, with a puppet govt. have an understanding, to show the world that they are democratic. So how does the military budget is created. The army has their own billion dollar crown companies, the General after the term, takes a couple of billions and settle in Dubai or USA or U.K.
Pakistan ( Punjabi) created a different Islam with the millions of Afghan refugees, they created thousands of madrassas in the Pusthun areas of Pakistan, with ISI, Saudi intelligence and the master CIA. The Punjabi Govt. did not mind sacrificing the pushtun kids and boys. They brainwashed them into suicide jihad. Now this is against Islam, but they used Islam as the tool. It became the new norm, the punishment for distorting Islam is very high punishment. Pakistan will be buried under the own creation of this jihadis..
Poor China is trying so hard, but cannot understand, why it is not working… Atheist China and the new brainwashed jihadis are two different operating systems . One is McIntosh and the other is Android. I feel sad for China and the Chinese people, who do not want understand what is happening. The ordinary Chinese people work so hard and Xi Xingping is throwing all that money in Pakistan, only trying to curb India’s growth… Karma in action.
India must never have any relationship with Pakistan, present Bangladesh and also Sri Lanka… India must rise with USA and Europe… The gang of the free world. Long live Modi and his great team. Jai Hind.Read allPost comment
