Former President Donald Trump has amplified a message from Elon Musk that champions hardworking legal immigrants and calls for defending America's values. Trump shared Musk’s statement on X, endorsing the Tesla CEO's stance amidst ongoing debates over immigration and skilled worker shortages in the United States.

In his original post, Musk voiced respect for immigrants who have significantly contributed to the country. “Anyone – of any race, creed, or nationality – who came to America and worked like hell to contribute to this country will forever have my respect,” Musk wrote. He urged citizens to preserve America as the “land of freedom and opportunity” by “fighting with every fiber” of their being.

By reposting Musk’s message, Trump has signaled a possible alignment with the pro-skilled immigration stance, a position that could reshape the immigration narrative as the nation heads toward the next election cycle.

Musk also took a strong stand against individuals he accused of putting personal gain above national interest, stating, “For those who want America to lose for their own personal gain, I have no respect. Zero.”
