Did Hillary Clinton forget to tweet 'thanks' to Michelle Obama?

NEW DELHI: Did Hillary Clinton forget to tweet her thanks to US first lady Michelle Obama, after the latter gave Clinton a ringing endorsement in her speech Monday night? It appears so.

All through the US first lady's speech, Hillary - or her staff - kept tweeting quotes from the US first lady's stirring speech, which described why she supports Hillary Clinton.

But it took US President Barack Obama's tweet on his wife to make Clinton comment, 20 minutes later, on the US first lady's speech - and it was, oddly, not with a "thank you".





There was a time when it was said the current first US first lady and the former US first lady didn't really get along. This was especially during Barack Obama's 2008 primary fight to get the US Democratic nomination.

The New York Times said Michelle was unhappy about what she thought were Hillary's "brutal, unfair attacks" on her husband.

The following comment Michelle Obama made during the 2008 primary campaign was said to refer to former US President Bill Clinton's peccadilloes.





Today, Michelle Obama sang a different tune.



Pretty much most of twitter thought if Clinton wins, it would be because of Monday's speech by Michelle Obama.
