Charlie Kirk murder case: Suspect tells lawyer he thinks of the shooting everyday - lip reader interprets

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, said he thinks about the shooting “every day” and mentioned the slain activist’s wife, Erika Kirk, in a chilling off-mic court exchange with his lawyer on Thursday in Provo, Utah, according to a lip-reading analysis by Lip Reader Limited.

“I think about the shooting daily,” Robinson appears to have told his lawyer before proceedings began, New York Post reported.

“Every morning … all the time.”




“So, he had a wife…”

“I’ve been smoking a lot … Not sleeping at night … it’s driving me mental.”

“Unfortunately, it’s doing my head in. I’m not good for anything.”

Robinson, 22, appeared calm and even shared a laugh with his attorney as he made his first in-person appearance before Judge Tony Graf. He stood wearing a blue button-down shirt and argyle tie.

He is accused of shooting dead the 31-year-old Kirk on Sept. 10 during a Turning Point USA talk at Utah Valley University in front of a crowd of thousands.

During Thursday’s hearing, Judge Graf was due to decide whether to allow media into the courtroom and whether to make public parts of an October transcript that permitted Robinson to wear street clothes. He deferred judgment on both matters after closing the hearing for more than two hours for private arguments and scheduled a further hearing for Dec. 29.

Robinson faces charges of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, obstruction of justice, two counts of witness tampering and commission of a violent offence in the presence of a child.
