5 unusual morning habits of US presidents you never knew

It is said that the routines people follow in the morning often show a lot about them, even more so than what they show to the world. The same is true when it comes to the world’s most powerful leaders, like the presidents of the United States. Despite their busy lives and responsibilities, the routines followed by the US presidents vary from disciplined to bizarre. These morning habits often reveal personal quirks, coping mechanisms, and lifestyle choices that contrast sharply with their public image, offering a more human and relatable perspective on figures usually seen only through a political lens.

Although some presidents had formal routines, others had routines that reflected their individual characteristics or their opinions on health. Historical records from official sources, like the White House Historical Association and the National Archives, show us the lesser-known sides of the US presidents.

I identify most with the breakfast habits of President William Howard Taft. I wake up early, have a super heavy breakfast of aloo parathas (I have at least 3), 4 omelettes, dalia, sometimes upma, seasonal fruit juices (several glasses), whole seasonal fruits, coffee and tea. I have all this by 7 AM, go back to sleep till around 8:30 AM, and then I'm in office before 10 AM. My whole day goes well with such a good and heavy breakfast!
