LOS ANGELES: US police is reopening investigation into Hollywood icon Natalie Wood’s mysterious drowning in 1981 after “receiving additional information”. The LA County sheriff ’s department said that it is taking “another look at the case” after receiving addition information in the death of ‘West Side Story’ star, whose death was ruled an accident at that time, the Los Angeles Times reported. “Recently, sheriff ’s homicide investigators were contacted by persons who stated they had additional information about the Natalie Wood drowning ,” the department said. She died in 1981 while boating off Santa Catalina Island, off southern California shore with husband Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken.
