According to public records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, Lamar Wilson died at the age of 48 and it wasn't until November 21st, 2025, that his passing was confirmed by his family member, Tony Wilson, in a very subdued Facebook post.

He added, "It's heartbreaking that Lamarr Wilson has passed away at age 48. Lamarr was a cornerstone of the LA gaming and tech creator community, and he carried an infectious joy and warmth with him everywhere. Every conversation with him left me feeling a little more energized. He had a rare ability to lift people up just by being himself. During the pandemic, he was one of the first creators to reach out, wanting to help and be part of Summer Game Fest. That generosity and spirit meant a great deal to us, and it’s something I’ll always remember. My thoughts are with Lamarr’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.”
