Megyn Kelly has made strong claims against Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss, saying they are helping create antisemitism inside conservative circles. She made these comments during an interview with Vanity Fair, published on December 22. Megyn Kelly said younger conservatives are changing fast. According to her, support for Israel is no longer united on the right. She believes this shift is being made worse by people she once respected. Kelly directly blamed Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss for fueling anger instead of calming it. At the same time, Megyn Kelly made it clear she does not believe Tucker Carlson is responsible for pushing hatred toward Jewish people.“They are making antisemites… Tucker is not making antisemites. They are,” Kelly said.

Her comments have added fuel to an already heated fight inside conservative media. This clash also connects to recent speeches, podcast comments, and public fallout involving Candace Owens, Turning Point USA, and AmericaFest.

Megyn Kelly, Ben Shapiro, and Bari Weiss clash over Israel, cancel culture, and conservative unity

Megyn Kelly accused Ben Shapiro of putting Israel ahead of American conservatives. She said his public criticism of her felt personal and shocking.
“Ben is Israel first… And I’m sorry, but his behavior has proven that charge to be correct,” Kelly said. She also questioned why he would divide conservatives at a time when the movement was becoming more united after the death of Charlie Kirk.Kelly then turned to Bari Weiss. She said Weiss built her career fighting cancel culture but now supports silencing voices she disagrees with.“Bari in particular has made her career on the anti-cancel culture thing. Meanwhile, she’s never been canceled,” Kelly said. She added that Weiss supported Ben Shapiro’s efforts to push her out of conservative spaces.Ben Shapiro later responded during a speech at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, as reported by Barrett Media. He criticized Megyn Kelly for refusing to strongly condemn Candace Owens.“The same holds true of Megyn Kelly, a person I consider a friend,” Shapiro said, arguing that personal feelings should not excuse silence. He rejected Kelly’s claim that neutrality was acceptable. “That is a non-starter,” Shapiro said, adding that there was “only one moral side.” He voiced support for Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk.Kelly fired back again during a conversation with Jack Posobiec at Turning Point AmFest 2025, posted to her YouTube channel on December 21. She said Shapiro calling her a friend before attacking her ended their relationship.“He had the nerve to call me a friend right before he called me a despicable coward,” Kelly said.So far, Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss have not responded to Kelly’s latest remarks.
