Jones said he had failed to look into Owens earlier and now felt he had “dropped the ball.” He framed the situation as a serious conflict and said he was ready for a “war.” However, he did not provide any documents or proof to support his claims.

The accusations are linked to Owens’ recent comments about Charlie Kirk’s death. Kirk was shot and killed in Utah on September 10, 2025. Since then, Owens has suggested foreign involvement and betrayal within Turning Point USA. These claims remain unproven, according to multiple media reports.
