She said she was “praying to God” that she was pregnant when her husband was shot and killed in September at Utah Valley University. Erika, who is 37, said she hoped she was carrying another baby because she always wanted a bigger family with Charlie Kirk.

Erika Kirk also told young women not to wait too long to have children. She said careers can continue later, but having kids cannot be delayed forever. She explained that she and Charlie were excited to grow their family and were both praying for another baby.

Megyn Kelly reminded her that she has two kids, a boy and a girl. Erika said she knows they will grow up and learn how important their father was. Kelly told the crowd that one day the children will understand they are Charlie Kirk’s children, and everyone clapped.

Charlie Kirk started Turning Point USA in 2012 and made it the biggest conservative youth group in the country. Trump once said Charlie Krik was one of the main reasons he won reelection. Charlie was also known for strong cultural views.

He spoke against gay and transgender rights and supported Donald Trump’s claims about migrants and former vice president Kamala Harris. He was also criticized for calling George Floyd a scumbag, which led to many people accusing him of making racial tensions worse.
