YouTuber Jack Doherty, who has more than 15 million subscribers, was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida, on Saturday, November 15, at 8:48 a.m. local time. Police booked him on charges of drug possession, resisting arrest, and causing a safety risk on a busy street. His arrest has brought his past relationship with McKinley Richardson back into the spotlight, and many people online are now asking if the two are still together.

Jack Doherty and McKinley Richardson began dating in early 2023 and got married in Las Vegas in November 2024. Their wedding was livestreamed by Jack himself. But the couple split just months later, and there is no sign that they reunited. McKinley later revealed troubling details about their marriage and the unusual prenuptial agreement Jack presented to her.

McKinley Richardson talked about their split during a conversation shared by Yahoo, saying Jack Doherty showed her a prenup that said, “shawty gets absolutely nothing when I divorce her, even if I cheat.”

She also said Jack wrote that if she ever cheated, she would owe him $10 million, and he would take 100 percent of her money even after a divorce. Many fans were confused, unsure if he was joking or being serious.


On October 11, 2025, McKinley Richardson told Camilla Araujo on a podcast that Jack made her father read out “disgusting” vows during their wedding ceremony. She said the moment was so upsetting that her father cried.

As for Jack Doherty’s arrest, People Magazine reported that he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, including amphetamine, and 20 grams or less of cannabis.

CBS Miami added that Jack was arrested after he walked into the street in the 700 block of Washington Avenue while police were patrolling the area. Officers said he was trying to film content and was blocking cars on a busy road.

Police said they warned him to step aside, but Jack replied that he would only move “once I’m done with this bet.” When he refused again, officers arrested him in the middle of the street for creating a safety risk.

The Miami Beach Police Department later shared a statement saying they will continue to take action against any behavior that puts people in danger, “regardless of celebrity status.”
