NEW DELHI: An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on Richter Scale jolted Tibet on Tuesday afternoon, according to national center for seismology.
The earthquake with depth of 5km hit the region at 2.44 pm.
"EQ of M: 4.2, On: 04/03/2025 14:44:28 IST, Lat: 28.28 N, Long: 87.56 E, Depth: 5 Km, Location: Tibet," national center for seismology wrote in a post on X.
Prior to this, another earthquake of magnitude 4.2 hit Afghanistan at 2 pm today with a depth of 10 km.
"EQ of M: 4.2, On: 04/03/2025 14:00:46 IST, Lat: 36.43 N, Long: 71.32 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Afghanistan," NCS said in a post on X.
