Teen Brazilian bodybuilder, who earned fame for incredible weightless journey, dies of heart attack

Matheus Pavlak, a rising star in the Brazilian bodybuilding scene, tragically passed away at the young age of 19 due to a suspected heart attack at his residence on Sunday.

Pavlak had gained recognition for his incredible journey from being an obese child to becoming a successful bodybuilder.

Over the course of five years, Pavlak underwent a remarkable physical transformation that propelled him to fame in his home state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

He embraced the challenging sport of bodybuilding as a means to overcome his obesity and quickly established himself as a prominent figure in the bodybuilding community.

In the reel posted on August 15, Pavlak wrote: "No matter the difficulty or the impossibility of your dream, if you truly want it, you will achieve it. I MADE IT!!"

In the previous year, Pavlak's dedication and hard work paid off when he secured the title of "Mr. Blumenau" in the U23 category in his hometown. Additionally, he achieved impressive top 10 finishes in several other regional competitions, according to a report by the New York Post.

Since embarking on his bodybuilding journey in 2019, Pavlak had been actively sharing his experiences and progress with his followers and the bodybuilding community through regular posts about his training routine.

As recently as last month, Pavlak uploaded a video on his Instagram account that highlighted his incredible transformation from being visibly overweight to achieving a lean and muscular physique.

Pavlak's ex-trainer, Lucas Chegatti, shared photos of them together and expressed his grief following the news of Pavlak’s death.

"Today ends on a sad note… the loss of a great friend, a remarkable young man who left us too soon, a tragedy that took us by surprise. He had a bright future ahead of him, a respected athlete," Chegatti wrote.
