The man clad in a T-shirt, tried to leap over the barricade and accost him as the papal figure was blessing followers after morning mass.
The man clad in a T-shirt, tried to leap over the barricade and accost him as the papal figure was blessing followers after morning mass.
According to Vatican sources, the man is believed to be in his mid-20s.
The Pope was unhurt.
