India and Taiwan celebrate 30 years of diplomatic ties in Taipei

India’s representative office in Taiwan celebrated Republic Day in Taipei, marking 30 years of unofficial diplomatic ties between the two nations.

The event highlighted the growing collaboration, with numerous business projects and partnerships underway.

According to Taiwan Plus, Taiwan's deputy foreign minister expressed optimism about the relationship, saying, "In the last three decades, the Taiwan and India bond has grown even stronger. Indeed, bilateral trade has increased a hundredfold, and over two hundred and sixty Taiwanese business companies now operate in India."

India Taipei Association director-general Manharsinh Yadav also shared his vision for future cooperation, saying, "Taiwan and India can leverage their strengths through a bilateral partnership to drive growth in the artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor industries."
