Diplomats fret over Nepal govt deadlock
KATHMANDU: With nearly four months gone after the April election and yet no sign of a new PM in Nepal, the diplomatic community has begun fretting, stepping up consultations with the government.
The British ambassador to Nepal Andrew Hall and heads of other EU missions in Nepal met president Ram Baran Yadav to enquire about the progress in the formation of a new government.

Last week, Yadav had asked the Maoists to prove their strength in the constituent assembly and form a new government within seven days.
French Ambassador, Gilles-Henry Garault said : "...We hope that there will soon be a decision on the other aspects of the executive such that Nepal has an inclusive and effective government that can deliver peace and development to the people of Nepal."
