US army Apache gunship goes down near Strait of Hormuz: Report
A United States military helicopter gunship went down near the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday amid heightened tensions between Iran and Washington. The incident comes as military hostilities continue after the launch of MAGA supremo Donald Trump's major military campaign against the Iranian regime on February 28.
However, both the crews in chopper were rescued safely, as news agency Reuters reported.
US President Trump also reacted to the incident, saying " pilots are 'fine' after a helicopter crashes near Strait of Hormuz."
It was not immediately clear whether the Apache helicopter had been brought down by Iranian fire, suffered a mechanical malfunction, or crashed due to another cause, the Jerusalem Post report said.
