Iran plans to use 'more powerful weapons' against Israel: Report
Iranian authorities have indicated that they are planning to use more powerful weapons than ever used before to attack Israel in response to the strikes on October 26, the Wall Street Journal reported citing Iranian and Arab officials briefed on the plans.
Israel on October 26 launched strikes on Iran's military facilities on October 26 killing four military personnel and one civilian, following Iran's earlier launch of approximately 200 missiles against Israel on October 1.
These officials further gave hints that Iran's military can participate in future operations against Israel. However, this doesn't necessarily mean troops deployment but could indicate that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard might not operate independently.
They also said that future responses would extend beyond drones and missiles, with plans to use missiles carrying more powerful warheads.
"Assessments from Iranian outlets and officials have morphed from trying to downplay the strike to using it to grandstand and threaten revenge. Make no mistake, Tehran still has the capability to respond. The Islamic Republic can still fire considerably more projectiles and with heavier warheads than have been employed in its first two direct attacks against Israel. Escalating without air defenses is either leading with one's chin or setting the pieces of the puzzle in place to justify a move towards developing atomic weapons," Behnam Ben Taleblu, Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) senior fellow told Fox News Digital.
Earlier, Iran demonstrated its assertive stance when Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei promised a "tooth-breaking" response to Israeli and American actions on Saturday.
Kamal Kharrazi, a senior adviser to Khamenei, spoke to Lebanese media on Friday about the country's nuclear capabilities. He said that Iran possesses the technical ability to produce nuclear weapons and might reconsider its nuclear doctrine if faced with an existential threat.
"If an existential threat arises, Iran will modify its nuclear doctrine, we have the capability to build weapons and have no issue in this regard," Kharrazi told Lebanese media.

Actually it's Iran that that has virtually destroyed Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine by training and providing weapons to terrorists. I am sure Israelis and US are waiting for Iran to respond and that is their actual game plan. Then US will provide all means to Israel to completely destroy Iran without itself getting directly involved!Read allPost comment
