185 drones, 110 surface-to-surface missiles and 36 cruise missiles were unleased on Israel last weekend. Astonishingly there was no casualty and minimal impact on the ground – all thanks to the Iron Dome that intercepted "99%” of the drones and missiles

Last weekend, Israeli airspace resembled a scene from Star Wars – explosions and light trails streaked across the night sky as city lights twinkled below. But this wasn't fiction; nor was it a "galaxy far far away". Instead, it was Israel's Iron Dome advanced air defence system at work which successfully foiled an attack by Iran that unleashed more than 300 drones and missiles towards the enemy country on Saturday night (April 13).

Iran's air raids into Israel in retaliation against an Israeli airstrike on an Iranian facility in Damascus, Syria, failed to make much impact or inflict any harm, as they were intercepted and destroyed by the Iron Dome that has successfully foiled several airborne attempts in the past too.
