The woman's motive for setting the fires was reportedly her desire to interact with and flirt with the firefighters who would respond to the blazes, as per various media reports.

According to Skai TV, she deliberately started the fires because she wanted to meet a man in uniform. Her presence at both fire scenes raised suspicions among the attending firefighters, leading to her arrest.

Sharing a video of the incident, Daily Mail said, "A 44-year-old woman in Greece has reportedly started two wildfires because she ‘enjoyed watching firefighters and flirting with them.’ The unnamed woman received a ‘three-year suspended prison sentence."

As a result of her actions, the woman has been sentenced to a suspended 36-month prison term and ordered to pay a fine of €1,000 (approximately $1,106). The suspended sentence means that she will not be immediately incarcerated, but if she is convicted of another crime within a specified time frame, the three-year sentence will be added to any additional punishment she receives.
