ATHENS: Authorities in Greece reported discovering a body, believed to be that of missing British TV presenter Michael Mosley, on a Greek island Sunday morning. A police representative, speaking anonymously due to the ongoing investigation, stated the body was found on a rocky coastline by a private boat. Formal identification has yet to be completed.
Mosley disappeared on Wednesday afternoon while on the small eastern Aegean island of Symi. He was last seen leaving a beach for a walk.
Michael Mosley is a familiar face in Britain, recognized for his frequent appearances on television and radio, as well as his column in the Daily Mail newspaper. Internationally, he is known for his 2013 book "The Fast Diet," co-authored with journalist Mimi Spencer. The "5:2 diet" detailed a method for rapid weight loss by reducing calorie intake for two days each week while maintaining a healthy diet on the other five days.
