Yeri of Red Velvet steps into the horror genre with her first film, ‘Next’

Yeri, a beloved member of Red Velvet, is stepping into uncharted territory with her big-screen debut in the mystery-horror film Next. Directed by Son Dong Wan, the film revolves around a group of school friends who, while dabbling in the supernatural, unleash something terrifying during a séance. Yeri will take center stage as the lead character, Park Ja Young, a class president caught in a desperate quest to find her missing sister.

The role of Park Ja Young promises to be gripping. As the responsible leader of her class, she is drawn into the séance, hoping it will provide clues to her sister’s disappearance.
