Three popular dramas reached new heights in viewership ratings last night. Starting with ‘Queen of Tears’, the romance series starring beloved actors Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won hit a milestone by achieving its highest ratings yet. According to Nielsen Korea, the sixth episode of the emotional journey earned an impressive average rating of 14.1 percent.

Drama 'Queen of Tears' narrates the extraordinary tale of a married couple, Baek Hyeon Woo and Hong Hae In, who defy adversity to keep their bond unbreakable. Leading the cast is Kim Soo Hyun, portraying Baek Hyeon Woo, the astute legal director of the prestigious conglomerate Queens Group. Opposite him, Kim Ji Won stars as Hong Hae In, the charismatic and affluent heiress dubbed the 'queen' of Queens Group's department stores.


Simultaneously, the ongoing romantic drama ‘Beauty and Mr. Romantic’, starring Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo, experienced a remarkable surge in its ratings. With an average nationwide rating of 17.2 percent, the drama showcased a nearly 2 percent increase from its premiere the previous night, maintaining its position as the most-watched program across all genres throughout the entire day.


In the series ‘Beauty and Mr. Romantic’, Park Do Ra, portrayed by Im Soo Hyang, navigates the highs and lows of fame under the relentless pressure of her overbearing stage mother. However, Do Ra's life takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with assistant director Go Pil Seung, played by Ji Hyun Woo, on the set of a drama. Pil Seung becomes the guiding light in Do Ra's life, helping her rise from rock bottom with his support and affection.

Lastly, the suspenseful mystery thriller ‘Hide’, featuring Lee Bo Young and Lee Moo Saeng, also saw a rise in viewership for its second episode, achieving an average nationwide rating of 4.7 percent. Furthermore, ‘Hide’ follows Na Moon Young, played by Lee Bo Young, as she searches for answers surrounding her husband Cha Sung Jae's (Lee Moo Saeng) mysterious disappearance.
